AFL

It's July and the 2010 Toyota AFL Premiership Season so far has produced a few surprises as well as predictable outcomes.

The powerhouses at this stage could be said to be Geelong, St Kilda, Collingwood and Hawthorn. Geelong, last year's premiership winners, are maintaining good form, and with Collingwood and St Kilda also having some great wins to date sees the three teams as the best contenders so far for this year's Grand Final. Hawthorn have made a turnaround with the last few performances and have positioned themselves in the top 8.

Although sitting low on the ladder, Richmond have shown real determination and have been giving fans value for money with some great football over the last 4 weeks. If they continue, they’ll definitely avoid a repeat of their 2009 wooden spoon status.

Star players to mention still include the talented and skillful Geelong's Gary Ablett and Carlton's Chris Judd, as well as Hawthorn's full forward Lance 'Buddy' Franklin.

Week upon week, footy fans flock to see fierce play between teams that battle to score a place for that one day in September. With just under 3 months to the end of the season and the Final Series becoming top of mind in the world of Australian Football, it's not too early to think about being at these games whether it’s your team playing or not. Speak with a Total Sports Travel consultant to help you with tickets, travel and accommodation options for any game and to secure a prime spectator seat for the 2010 Toyota Grand Final.
